My Story
Max Bock is a Democratic strategist who has spent the last 9 years working on campaigns. He began his political career in 2017 in southern Illinois working on Governor Pritzker's first gubernatorial campaign. His efforts contributed to flipping the state red to blue and electing JB Pritzker as the governor of Illinois. Max then worked for Stacey Abrams' 2018 gubernatorial campaign in Gwinnett County, GA. He was a part of a team that flipped the county red to blue. His efforts assisted Stacey Abrams in receiving the most votes ever (1.9 million) for a Georgia gubernatorial candidate.
Max had the honor of working for Vice President Kamala Harris' 2019 presidential campaign in Columbia, SC. He worked at the campaign's state HQ and campaigned side by side the legendary Reckoning Crew. He joined the Biden/Harris campaign in Wisconsin for the 2020 presidential general election. Max was part of a team that helped flip the state red to blue. His efforts contributed to boosting statewide voter turnout by 250,00 and helped Joe Biden receive the most votes ever for a presidential candidate.
In 2022, Max started a local grassroots organization, Arkansas for the People. The organization helped boost voter participation and interest in Arkansas. In 2024, he launched KDH for the People, a national Political Action Committee. The organization supported Vice President Kamala Harris' 2024 presidential campaign. In 2026, Max formed Change for the People, a national nonprofit. The organization works to increase voter participation with underrepresented groups and fix the root problems of voter turnout and voter apathy across the country.
Max teaches Vice President Harris' For the People campaign training model. He served as Vice Chair of his hometown Democratic Party in western Arkansas. In 2024, he was named a presidential elector for the state of Arkansas. He was named an honorary member of the Reckoning Crew. He hosts a podcast focusing on social issues, elections and campaign strategy. He has been a guest speaker at numerous universities and holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice.
