Low Income Voter Turnout
Only 48% of voters with an income below $25,000 cast a ballot in the 2024 presidential election.
Around 76% of residents with an income of $150,000 made it to the ballot box.
Low income residents make up 14% of the voting electorate.
LGBTQ+ Voter Turnout
There is a growing number of youth voters who identify as LGBTQ+, including 27% of Gen Z and 15.6% of millenials.
In the 2024 election, an estimated 8% of voters identified as LGBTQ+.
Black Voter Turnout
Black voter turnout (59.6%) was down 3% in 2024.
Turnout was down 6.1% in 476 precincts of the six swing states with a 85% black population.
Hispanic Voter Turnout
Hispanic voter turnout (50.6%) was down 3.1% in 2024.
Turnout dropped 11% in the most Hispanic precincts in the six swing states.
Female Voter Turnout
In the 2024 general election, approximately 63.7% of eligible women voters participated. This turnout reflects a decrease from the 2020 election, where the overall voter turnout was higher at 66.6%.
Voter turnout among lower income women declined significantly.
